Skanska to Build Student Housing in Norway for SEK 350 M »

Skanska has been contracted to build student housing in Trondheim, Norway. The contract amounts to NOK 300 M, about SEK 350 M, which is included in order bookings for the fourth quarter. The customer is the Student Welfare Association in Trondheim.

The contract involves construction of a new student housing area, Berg Studentby, and comprises a total of 17,000 square meters distributed among 644 student rooms and common areas. The project also involves certain demolition work. Read the rest

Commercial Alliance Group Announces Seller Financing for Its Florida Waterfront Marina Communities »

Commercial Alliance Group, a Central Florida based real estate development and financial services advisory firm announced on Tuesday, November 4, 2008, that it has begun offering seller financing for its luxury waterfront marina communities at the Palm Coast Resort, Palm Coast, Florida and Callalisa Villas, New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

The Palm Coast Resort and Callalisa Villas are both new, luxury condominium communities situated on the Intracoastal Waterway in Central Florida destination resort environments.

The Callalisa Villas units include a boat slip in the Callalisa Private Marina, which is restricted to use by the Callalisa Villas unit owners and their guests. Callalisa Villas is currently being offered for preconstruction sale. The project adjoins a nature conservation area which creates beautiful views of Callalisa Creek and the Indian River. Ocean access is available through the Ponce Inlet. The shops and restaurants along the quaint and historic Flagler Avenue, and New Smyrna’s wide Atlantic beaches are within walking distance.
